Week 28 ~ Baby Eggplant!

How far along? 28 weeks, as in 7 months! I'm SHOCKED that there are only 3 short months left!

Weight gain? Eh, who knows. My appetite kicked into high gear this week and I have been SHAMELESS about digging in :-D

Maternity clothes? I'm trying not to buy any more maternity-specific clothing.... but it's nice to have some really comfortable items that I know will fit for the next 3 months.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well considering the CONSTRUCTION that is happening on the road right behind our house- they work from 7pm-7am :-( so we hear all sorts of heavy equipment throughout the night.

Best moment this week: Attending a friend's baby shower.... she has been battling infertility for 10 years and wrestling with adoption for the past 3 years. At the end of next month her and her husband are going to pick-up their new son in China! I am SO happy for them and their journey is a great reminder that being able to grow a healthy baby is a miracle and I'm so fortunate for this experience -heartburn and all!

Movement: He didn't seem to be quite as active this week, but maybe he's starting to run out of room... both of us are putting on some extra fat layers :-P

Food cravings: I've cut my ice-cream habit down from eating it by the pint to eating it by the ice-cream sandwich, so I'm going to call that PROGRESS!

Anything making you queasy or sick: My heartburn actually wasn't as bad this week, which was surprising considering I've started eating way more!

Labor signs: No.

Symptoms: I'm having some shooting lower-back pain, but I wore some horrible shoes one day and I think that's what did me in! Hopefully I'll be back to normal, soon. 

Belly button in or out? In... and it's kind of funny because I always hated my deep bellybutton  but now I'm thinking it's probably a good thing because it may never pop out :-P

Wedding rings on or off? On, still!

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! I feel like I'm starting another cycle of being tired, though. Maybe it's just thinking about the fact that HOLY COW I ONLY HAVE 3 MONTHS TO GET EVERYTHING READY FOR A BRAND NEW BABY! And that's if he doesn't arrive early. 

Looking forward to: Hubbs putting the second shelf in the nursery closet so that I can SORT and ORGANIZE that disaster zone :-P
