Our Late Christmas Gift Was Worth The Wait! (.... and eventually, the weight! Ha!)

I guess belting “all I want for Christmas is youuuuuuu” by Mariah Carry repeatedly at the top of my lungs all last week actually worked! We finally got our special Christmas present, only a few days late. Today was quite exciting! After some eager anticipation and worrying myself about if pregnancy was something that my body could do or not, the miracle has happened! The first thing I noticed was the classic symptom of enlarged tender breasts, but I tried not to get too excited, however after it progressed for a few days I KNEW that must mean that I was pregnant! I also had a dream that a good friend looked at me and said “you’re pregnant!” Oh and Hubbs has started to smell like parsley… guess those hormones are doing their thing! My parents were in town for a few days for Christmas, but it was too early to test, so we waited until after they left. I wanted to be sure Hubbs and I had enough time to have our special moment and let the news sink in before we shared it. Though it would have been so fun to tell my parents in person! I kept thinking, this could be our last Christmas without a kiddo!
