First Trimester Must-Haves!

1. Cozy shirts are essential for relaxing and naps! I usually made it through the work day alright, but as soon as I got home and my butt hit the couch, I didn't stray far.
2. Of course cozy lounge pants are just as essential!
3. For even mind nausea ginger altos are a nice touch.
4. Many plastics contain chemicals, so a glass water bottle is more important now than ever before.
5. Throne was the only brand of prenatal vitamins that that didn't make me nauseous- if you try one and it doesn't work for you, you aren't stuck with it- definitely experiment with the many options that are available on the market!
6. Since coffee isn't recommended in the first trimester, and actually it didn't sound good to me anyway, ginger tea was a nice strong flavor that I could enjoy. I didn't have much nausea, but for those who do, this is an especially great options.
7. The "My Pregnancy" app was so fun! At the beginning it doesn't seem like there's much you can "do", so the app provided some ideas of things that you could do to ensure a healthy and fun pregnancy. I also love the weekly updates with how baby is developing- it's amazing to think about what's really going on in my body!
8. I love Burt's Bee's chapstick and have it with me at all times, pregnant or not.
9. As I mentioned, I spent a lot of evenings on the couch during the first trimester and having a variety of different shows to watch on Netflix made the it bearable!
10. Cheesy carbs were all the sounded good to me, for the most part, so I ate macaroni and cheese more than I care to admit :-/
11. Organic apples were the only healthy option that I managed to eat, but something was better than nothing!
