BOY!!!

The idea of a gender reveal party sounds like a lot of fun, and I considered it at one point.... but I'm just so darn excited I want to tell everyone right away! We are THRILLED! Hubbs wanted a boy and I had no preference. It was so special to have a wonderful friend, who is an ultrasound tech, be able to do this ultrasound with us! I think she must have been almost as excited as we were :-P It was so funny when she first got baby on the screen there was a tiny flash n I sort of gasped and she was like, "did you see it?! " I just saw for a fleeting moment what appeared to be boy parts and she said she thought I was right. After a few more minutes we were able to confirm baby's gender- actually it was quite easy because he was rather an exhibitionist! (Not sure where those genes came from?!) Baby was super rambunctious and moving around like crazy, maybe he was putting on a show for us. Our friend said it looks like he has some big lips- all the better for the many kisses he'll be giving his mama in the future  <3 His head is on my right side and he's stretched out perpendicular to me, with plenty of room to hang out. He seriously looked like he was rocking out in a hammock somewhere, which must have exhausted him because toward the end he yawned. Maybe he's getting all this energy out of his system now and after he's born he'll be chill and relaxed??? It was intriguing to get a glimpse into this little human and his little personality growing inside me... wow, what an incredible miracle.... I'm so blessed to have this incredible experience!
