You Get What You Settle For
Is it scary or
exciting that we get what we settle for? I think it’s a little of both. When
you stop searching for something else that means you have settled with what you
have. Settling isn’t necessarily a bad thing, you could settle in a place where
you want to be. The problem is when you don’t have what you want and you stop
searching. Never give up! We each have to play the hand we were dealt to the
best of our ability, but if you want something different than what you were
dealt, keep playing the game until you get what you want. Knowing yourself and
becoming aware of what you want in life is the first step. Then choose what you
believe, and choose to believe that you can have everything that you want. It
may not happen instantly, but you can get there. The self-fulfilling prophesy ensures that you will become exactly the person that you believe you will be come.
Once you have set your course then you can experience the present moment because your subconscious will guide you toward your goals. By experiencing the present moment you can play, explore, and get the feels! Life is about feeling everything. Your hedonistic thrills should come from love, experiencing everything possible in each moment so that if the next moment were your last, you would feel good that you got the most out of your final moments. Always do your best and that’s all you can do.
